A Gulfport Welcome is a community program that creates a welcoming environment for new residents in Gulfport. This quarterly event is an opportunity to meet city staff and community leaders, gather information about volunteer opportunities and civic organizations and learn to navigate city services.
By giving everyone a chance to discover our city and ask questions, we can foster a more engaged community. Even if you’re just visiting or passing through, we hope you feel included in all we have to offer. There is a place for everyone in weird, wacky, wonderful Gulfport!

About Us
Led by local residents Kelli Garcia and Regina Buscemi. These neighbors love their community and wanted to find a way to compile everything you need to know, in one place. They decided that inviting members from city organizations to present their own missions and opportunities for involvement would be the best way to get accurate information and bring people together. With the support of city staff this event has began to grow!
